#1. A few weeks ago I was chatting on the phone with Kelly, while I picked up my room and the boys played. Suddenly they seemed to be a little too interested in what they were doing so I looked over to see what they were up to. There they sat taking turns dipping into an open bottle of lotion and eating it. Yumm!
#2. As I made dinner last one night last week, I thought to myself. I love that they are starting to play together. It makes it so much easier for me to fix dinner. No one is crying, no one is pulling on my leg. Beautiful. Then Kayson crawled up to me looking like this:
I gasped and said Kayson what is that! ... I soon found my answer as I walked down stairs and found this:
I'll take this moment to say that it is partially my fault... I did leave the markers out... where I thought he couldn't reach them. But FYI 2 year olds can reach ANYTHING that they really want. The only thing I can say is, thank goodness they were crayolas and not sharpies!#3. I went into the bathroom to do my makeup. I left them with toys to play with. This time I could even hear them playing with the toys... I few seconds later Riser runs by me and into his room with something then I hear a spraying sound. I walk in to find him spraying down Kayson's crib with some laundry starch. I grab it and ask him why he's doing that... Than I notice starch dripping down his arms and the side of face... Knowing our past history, I run to check Kayson and find his hair and clothes completely dripping with starch. Not wanting to have to bathe him again, I tried just wiping it off and combing through it, but not so surprisingly, starch makes hair stiff just like it makes clothes stiff... really stiff... Good times...
Anyway, that's what I've learned... Anyone want to babysit? :)
