Some Shameless Mommy Bragging

Some pictures... just because I think my boys are the cutest boys EVER.... Thanks for indulging me!
The other day I got out some of Riser's old toys (You know, the ones that he hasn't looked at in like a year?) so that Kayson could start using them. Riser thought they were the most amazing thing he had ever seen (Do you think it was because Kayson was using them? hmmmmm) especially the one pictured.

He was also really impressed that his foot was so much bigger than Kayson's. I have to admit, I was too. How do they grow THAT much in just 2 years? Crazy...
Kayson passed out in his swing. He started out wrapped up. It must have been a rough sleep.

He is starting to make lots of cute sounds, and has become so much more animated these days. He is so close to smiling. I can't wait!
Riser's passion... the drums. Everything and anything is the drums. His favorite drum is that cookie dough container. I guess it makes an especially pleasing sound.
My 2 buddies. Riser is so cute with Kayson... he alway wants to be right next to him (sometimes a little scary) I love the way he talks to him... he gets this ridiculous voice (I think he is copying me.. scary if that's what I sound like)and says "Kaaaaaysoooon"... so funny.

My sister won a really fun party at backyard adventures a few months ago. She used it to throw a birthday party for Ethan while Anna was in town. I almost started to complain to you that I never win anything, but if you know Cynthia, you know that she enters every contest EVER created, and so I probably win about as many times as she does... she just works harder at winning than I do! Anyway, that's neither here nor there... The real story is that it was SO much fun. Even the "Grown Ups" got to play!

The 24th...Catching up

Just a few pictures from the 24th... and the 25th...

On the 24th, we headed over to Wheeler Farm. Karl designed some shirts with a friend of ours in the ward, and they were selling them at a Samoan festival there. Riser had so much fun listen to the music, wandering around with Karl and digging in the dirt... until he wiped his eyes... oops. Poor kid.

After that, we headed over to my parent's to have dinner, some fireworks and some rolling around on the grass. Good times.

Well, all evening Riser had tried to be good, but he was SOOOOO grumpy. We figured out why when we got home. As Karl was putting him in his bed, he threw up all over. I think Karl is still trying to get the image out of his head. I guess it was pretty impressive. Anyway, the next morning Karl woke up with the same thing, throwing up, body aches and a huge headache. We're kind of wondering if they had what Kayson had. If so, poor kid. That stuff looked miserable. Needless to say, the 2 of them spent their day doing this:
